Unique and protected countryside
The entire area around Blåvandshuk has been designated an EU sanctuary and a Ramsar area. Access to Langli in Ho Bay is limited to the period 16 July-15 September. The road from Ho out to Nyeng is closed to all access in this period. However, you can park in a field and walk the last 500 metres out to the meadow. All travel on Ho Bay in the area between Skallingen and Ebbevej-Langli is prohibited all year round. Please note, too, that the southern tip of Skallingen is completely off limits. If you would like to come and see the birds in this area, it is a good idea to contact Blåvand Nature Centre, which comprises both a nature school and a bird station.
